  • Why Skip the Backing Board? If you intend to hang your print right away, you can opt-out of the backing board. Product Care

To ensure the longevity and preservation of your fine art print, follow these care guidelines: Handling: Always handle your print with clean, dry hands to avoid transferring oils and dirt. It’s best to use cotton gloves if possible. Framing: Frame your print using archival-quality materials. UV-protective glass or acrylic will help shield it from harmful light exposure. Acid-free matting and backing will prevent deterioration over time. Display: Hang your print in a location away from direct sunlight, high humidity, and temperature fluctuations. Ideal conditions are moderate light and stable, room-temperature environments. Cleaning: Dust your print and frame regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using any cleaning agents or sprays directly on the print or the frame’s glass. Storage: If storing your print, keep it in a cool, dry place. Use acid-free tissue paper and flat, sturdy storage to prevent any creasing or bending. Avoid storing in basements, attics, or places prone to moisture and temperature changes. By following these guidelines, you can maintain the beauty and integrity of your fine art print for years to come.

Packaging and Finishing

Each fine art print is meticulously packaged to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. The print is placed in a crystal-clear archival bag, designed to protect and preserve its quality. For those not planning to frame their print immediately, an optional archival white backing board is available. These boards provide additional protection and are FSC certified, 100% recyclable, making them an eco-friendly choice. However, if you intend to hang your print straight away, the backing board is omitted to reduce waste. The print is signed by Dr. Lindsay Marshall, the artist, and embossed with her logo, adding a personal touch of authenticity.
